Kepler Track Google-Trek Part 2.

Have continued along the gloriously mountainous section of the Kepler Track on the South Island of New Zealand. This section goes from Forest Burn Shelter to Luxmore Hut which turned out to be something more that a hut, for sure...

A fellow traveler further down the series of switchbacks. A lot of descents on this segment.

Fragile Area. Didn't look very fragile, but probably best to stay on the track.

Still descending and looking back you can see where the track goes through that rocky section.

Saw this guy up ahead, but he wasn't going too fast.

So I ended up leaving him far behind.

Landscape starts to flatten out a bit.

Thought I should add a map of the Kepler Track to show where exactly I have been google-treking.  Circled in red, you can see Hanging Valley Shelter and the route along to Forest Burn Shelter.
