Google Treking the amazing Kepler Track on the South Island of New Zealand south of Milford Sound (see inset map)

Thought I should add a map of the Kepler Track to show where exactly I have been google-treking.  Circled in red, you can see Hanging Valley Shelter and the route along to Forest Burn Shelter.

Here are the photos I took on the Kepler Track high in the mountains as I google-treked from the Hanging Valley Shelter to the Forest Burn Shelter...

The steep approach path up to the the Hanging Valley Shelter.

Hanging Valley Shelter. What a location, but very exposed in bad weather.
I would be glad for this shelter for sure.

Looking off down the Kepler Track which I will be following to Forest Burn Shelter

Looking back the way I came and towards Hanging Valley Shelter.

Looking back the way I've come.

Looking ahead at the track I will be following to Forest Burn Shelter.

Nice to finally see some fellow hikers way up here!

Descending for a while from that high ridge.

Another look back the way I came.

Final look back before arriving at Forest Burn Shelter.

The track up to Forest Burn Shelter.

Made it to Forest Burn Shelter...
